Dr. Janne J. Olin

Janne J. Olin is a postdoctoral researcher at the NODUS research group. His interdisciplinary work interweaves insights from fields such as futures, governance, cultural, organizational and science and technology studies to explore the politics of urban transformations.

An Aalto University alumnus, Janne holds a Doctor of Science (Technology) degree and has years of experience in spatial and transportation planning. His doctoral dissertation, “If we wish to hold on to the welfare of our country”, investigated how cultural realities shape the sociotechnical trajectories of emerging mobility technologies in Finland.
