Jenni Viitala is a postdoctoral researcher working on questions related to energy justice and energy vulnerability. A social and environmental anthropologist by training, Jenni’s research utilises qualitative methods such as ethnographic fieldwork. In addition to issues related to energy, Jenni’s work explores mineral extraction with a focus on how places and people are connected and disconnected through planetary supply chains.
